Me: “I think when we finish Rome, I’m feeling Gilmore Girls for our next show. I just need something cozy and relaxing for a bit. But we’ll stop at the episode before the season 4 finale. That’s when it really gets bad. Then they brought it back a bunch of years later and made it even WORSE!”
Fiancé: “What year did it start?”
Me: “2000.”
Fiancé: 
“Really!? I thought it was an OLD show!”
Me: *reluctantly* “Well, I mean…that was 25 years ago. So I guess it’s an old show.”
Fiancé: “Yeah, but I thought it was on in like the ’80s or something! I’ve got to look this up.” *moments later* “Yeah, this is not the show I was thinking of at all.”
Me: “Oh, what were you thinking of?”
Fiancé: “I don’t know…something about some old ladies in a kitchen, I think?”
*short silence*
Me: “…Do you mean The Golden Girls?”
Fiancé: “Oh! Yeah, that’s the one!”
LMAO. I mean, it’s an understandable mistake, but I still cracked up.
