Hello, I’m Carrington! (NOT Carrie–it’s a lovely name, but it’s not mine!) I’m a displaced Virginian working as a freelance virtual assistant and copywriter/editor here in Florida. Because I enjoy the creative aspects of my job so much, I realized I wanted to work even harder each day to do more of what I love! And that’s why I was inspired to start this blog. I like to practice positive thinking and being active in going after what I want. And what better next step to improving my quality of life than a creative outlet that will also allow me to continue honing my skills for my career?
In my spare time, you can find me procrastinating on my novel while learning a new language (Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands), investigating genealogical mysteries, attending a theatrical performance, or, if I’m very lucky, gallivanting through Europe. Together with my loving boyfriend, our dog Faith, and our Roomba Hond, I also enjoy sitting down with a glass of Argentinian malbec and a good movie and letting my boyfriend duel Harrison Ford for my affections.
